paris, je t'aime

Last night was the American premiere of Paris, Je T'aime - one of my favorite films of the year. Apparently YSL and First Look Pictures hosted the screening and after-party here in the city and it was, not surprisingly, a star-filled event.
I'm not usually a big fan of "indie it girls", Natalie Portman and Maggie Gyllenhaal, but both of them looked quite stunning on the red carpet, yeah?

Anyway, the movie is basically a collection of shorts that fit cohesively into the theme of "love and life" in the City Of Light - and were directed by a handful of famous names, including Tom Twyker, Wes Craven, and Gus van Sant. It is a bit on the romantic/cheesy side but is definitely worth the money and time. I was lucky enough to have seen the film after its French release, but yeah, definitely don't miss it!

Here's a trailer.
