you are such a P.Y.T., catching all the lights...

Since Spring has finally secured it's presence in the city, NY power couples are aggressively emerging out of hibernation. The leggy models with perfect hair, or LES hipsters in matching angular glasses, now stroll the streets hand-in-hand, encouraging us single folk to get a move-on.

Funny thing is, I was once passionately against hand-holding and any other form of PDA because I thought it showed dependency and was completely unnecessary. More than once I've pulled my hand away from an S.O. with my usual excuse, "that's gross...stop it."

However, recently I've decided that certain forms of PDA are actually quite nice. For example, if you're Victoria "Posh Spice" attending a red-carpet event, you look infinitely more beautiful with David Beckham attached to your left side.
Or if you're Michael Douglass....holding Catherine Zeta-Jones' hand almost makes us forget that you're actually kind of old & ugly.

And if both partners are beautiful, then you get the phenomenom known as aggregate beauty. This is a kind of superior eye candy that we can only admire in blissful envy.

Even though some of my favorite couples have gone separate ways (Ryan & Reese, Jake & Kirsten, etc.), there are still a few that will keep you longing for your own summer love.

Even fashionistas would agree, having a P.Y.T. hanging from your arm is the ultimate accessory.
